Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between The Sparring Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dunn has chosen Diary of a Madman as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, The Sparring Bot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Dunn!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bot throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bot goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Dunn misses with the combination.
Dunn blocks a head kick by Bot.
Bot has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Castordam in the buildup to the fight.
Bot throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dunn throws a head kick that misses
and Bot counters with a good low kick that Dunn was not able to check.
Bot uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dunn.
Bot connects with a solid leg kick.
Dunn fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bot swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dunn throws a leg kick which misses Bot's front leg but catches the back leg as Bot tries to avoid it.
Bot connects with the punch.
Bot lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bot blocks a jab.
Bot looks to land a body kick but Dunn moved away.
Dunn chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bot can pounce on him.

Nice sprawl there from Dunn as Bot shoots in.
Dunn scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bot doesn't seem bothered though.

Dunn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dunn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Dunn thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Dunn tries to score with some ground and pound. Bot controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Bot is looking for a sweep.
Dunn misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Dunn goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bot rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dunn's guard! Nice work there by Bot!
Dunn wants to get back to his feet but Bot is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Bot connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dunn some visible discomfort.

Dunn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bot wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Dunn seems to have recovered his senses.

Bot working over Dunn with some ground and pound. Dunn looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Bot has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dunn tries to get to full guard but Bot has control of the leg.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dunn makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dunn.
Dunn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bot is one step ahead there.
Bot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Dunn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bot prevents Dunn from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that The Sparring Bot will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Dunn lands with a cross.
Bot displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dunn.
Bot turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dunn misses with a wild combination.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bot.
Dunn throws a hook but Bot blocks it.

Dunn is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bot off and has taken his back!

Bot covering up well and avoiding damage.

Bot is in a bad position with Dunn working for a choke. Bot manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Bot not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The Sparring Bot dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Bot throws a low kick but Dunn moves out of range easily.
Donk. Bot catches Dunn right on the button with a cross.

Dunn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bot accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bot stands up over Dunn, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Dunn thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Dunn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bot sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dunn's guard.

Mark Dunn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dunn throws a hook but Bot blocks it.

Mark Dunn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Dunn fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bot checks it well.

Bot lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Dunn gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bot.
Dunn's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Bot lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bot.
Bot connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dunn stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bot.

Dunn pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bot is out of range and Dunn settles back down.
Dunn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Bot slips under a jab from Dunn.
Bot works Dunn's body with a nice hook.
Dunn misses with a few strikes there.
Bot connects with a single shot there.
Dunn fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bot has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Dunn misses with a wild combination.
Dunn throws a wild body kick that Bot sees coming a mile off.
Dunn shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Bot lands with a thumping leg kick.
The Sparring Bot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bot paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dunn misses with a low kick.
Dunn throws a looping overhand right but Bot ducks down to avoid it.
A right-left combo lands from Bot.
Bot throws a leg kick which misses Dunn's front leg but catches the back leg as Dunn tries to avoid it.
Dunn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dunn fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bot is out of range.
Bot with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

And that's the end of the fight!
The Sparring Bot showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Bot has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The Sparring Bot opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
