The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Berg gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Berg has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Friedlander clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Berg is trying to stick to Friedlander 's back but Friedlander is turning into Berg. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Berg's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Friedlander .
Berg wants to stand and escape but Friedlander is having none of it.
Friedlander wants to control from the top but Berg keeps moving.
Berg seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Friedlander trying to control the position from guard on top but Berg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Friedlander pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Berg is keeping the position for now.

Berg looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Friedlander looking to sit in guard and control but Berg gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Friedlander is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Berg must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Berg wants to stand but Friedlander has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Friedlander is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Berg rolls with it to try and escape but Friedlander cranks on the arm and Berg is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
