Emerson is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bob takes the fight into the clinch.
Emerson is breathing heavily.

Bob has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Emerson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Emerson is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Bob.

Emerson defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Bob's arms.
Bob is hanging on to Emerson's back as he tries to escape.
Emerson is trying to remain composed but Bob is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.

Emerson looking very determined here, making life difficult for Bob.
Emerson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bob is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Emerson knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Emerson for a finish.
Bob is riding his opponent, not letting Emerson buck him off.
Bob punches Emerson on the ear.
Bob really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Emerson.

Bob lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Emerson hold on?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bob lands a series of strikes from the back and Emerson goes limp! The ref jumps in to save him!
