Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ezekiel Cash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Rogan!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rogan has taken the fight to the clinch.

Rogan lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Cash is controlling Rogan's trapped leg to prevent Rogan from advancing to side control.
Cash trying to control from the bottom.

Cash looking for submissions off his back.
Cash trying to hold on to Rogan's head to control him but Rogan postures up.
Rogan prevents Cash from improving his position.
Cash is doing well to control the position and prevent Rogan from advancing to side control.

Rogan tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Rogan postures up in Cash's guard and throws a big left but Cash blocks it.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Joe Rogan wasn't active enough on the ground.
Cash keeps the fight on the outside.

Cash had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rogan defends it easily.

Rogan gets to his feet. Cash looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Rogan tries to close the distance and clinch but Cash swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

letting Rogan counter with a right hand.

Cash has managed to clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Cash turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Rogan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cash off and has taken his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Joe Rogan will probably get the nod.
That's time! Cash's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Rogan shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Cash is looking to control Rogan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cash avoid being mounted?
Cash tries to get to full guard but Rogan has control of the leg.

Rogan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cash sees it coming and defends easily.
Cash is refusing to be controlled, as Rogan sits in half guard.
Cash is controlling Rogan's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Cash might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Joe Rogan has got the better of the ground game so far.

Rogan wants to take a breather but Cash is having none of it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Rogan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are battling for position here. Cash manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Rogan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cash is proving hard to escape from.
Cash is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Cash wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rogan keeps working.
Rogan is trying to stand up here but Cash is controlling him well.
Cash seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Rogan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Cash slips a nice elbow through Rogan's hands, connecting with Rogan's forehead.
Cash is keen to just control but Rogan is a slippery customer.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rogan can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ezekiel Cash will probably get the nod.

Cash escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rogan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Cash manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rogan manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ezekiel Cash just wasn't active enough.
Rogan moves to clinch but Cash breaks away

and Cash counters by moving into the clinch.
Cash jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rogan walks away with a smile on his face. Cash gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Cash counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Cash counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cash.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rogan seems keen to control Cash's posture.
Rogan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Cash is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Rogan gets tackled into the cage by Cash. Cash maintains the clinch.

Cash is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rogan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Cash to the mat. Cash regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Cash is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Cash throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rogan escapes and throws Cash's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Rogan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cash keeps working.
Rogan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Rogan wants to take a breather but Cash manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Rogan.
Rogan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Cash wants to sweep but no luck.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rogan feints and as Cash raises his hands in defense, Rogan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ezekiel Cash.
I think Cash has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
