Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hyun Sudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilkins has chosen LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sudo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wilkins.

Sudo clinches up with Wilkins and pushes him back against the cage.
Wilkins is trying to drag Sudo to the mat but Sudo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Sudo prevents the takedown attempt.
Wilkins is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sudo pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Hyun Sudo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Wilkins.
Sudo throws a head punch that misses.
Wilkins blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Wilkins turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We've been hearing good reports from Sudo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Wilkins is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sudo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Sudo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilkins on the ground.

Wilkins is trying to get an arm triangle but Sudo is defending well.

Wilkins goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sudo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wilkins but great work by Sudo.
Sudo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wilkins has his foot on Sudo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sudo works his way back into a safe position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wilkins throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Sudo has his hands clasped together but Wilkins breaks the hold and Sudo is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Wilkins!
