Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nursultan Tuliegbay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elias Al Haddad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuliegbay comes into the arena with Bing Bong Bing Bong Bing blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nursultan Tuliegbay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Elias Al Haddad!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Haddad misses with a double jab.
Al Haddad will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A shot to the liver by Tuliegbay. Beautiful body shot.
Elias Al Haddad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Al Haddad works over Tuliegbay's head and body with a nice combination.
Tuliegbay defending well as Al Haddad loads up on a big left hand.
Al Haddad pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tuliegbay back to the cage. Al Haddad follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Al Haddad uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tuliegbay.
Tuliegbay thows a body shot but no joy.
Tuliegbay on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Al Haddad drives through and clinches with Tuliegbay against the cage.
Al Haddad lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Tuliegbay has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Al Haddad avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Al Haddad creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Al Haddad escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Al Haddad takes a jab right on the kisser.
Al Haddad fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Al Haddad throws a head kick but Tuliegbay moves out of range.
Al Haddad pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tuliegbay is out of range and Al Haddad settles back down.
Al Haddad throws a series of punches but Tuliegbay moves out of range.
Tuliegbay misses with a straight right.
Al Haddad lands a two punch combo.
The fighters circling - Tuliegbay throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tuliegbay swings for the body but Al Haddad moves out of range.

Al Haddad ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tuliegbay moves away.

Al Haddad tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tuliegbay paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tuliegbay throws an overhand right that lands on Al Haddad's shoulder, as Al Haddad tries to avoid the shot.
Tuliegbay is looking to wear down Al Haddad with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Tuliegbay closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Al Haddad did well to prevent Tuliegbay getting side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Al Haddad is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Al Haddad is staying active underneath Tuliegbay, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Al Haddad really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tuliegbay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Al Haddad is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tuliegbay is controlling him.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Al Haddad is on top in guard.
Al Haddad tries to stand but Tuliegbay is controlling from the bottom.
Tuliegbay seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tuliegbay is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Al Haddad has his hands clasped together but Tuliegbay extends and breaks Al Haddad's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tuliegbay.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Nursultan Tuliegbay!
Nursultan Tuliegbay tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
