The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Headed throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Headed fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hogan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A nice leg kick lands there from Headed.
Hogan checks a low kick from Headed.
Hogan throws a body kick that misses
and Headed counters with a head kick. That will keep Hogan thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Headed feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hogan's calf.
Headed has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Headed wants to sweep but no luck.
Hogan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Let's hope that Hogan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Henry Hogan.
Headed thumps Hogan with a low kick.
Headed fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hogan.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Headed.
Hogan moves in looking to clinch but Headed pushes him off.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hogan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Headed - the referee stops the clock and Hogan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Headed. Hogan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Headed keeps Hogan at a distance using the push kick.
