Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Octavio Saades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Damons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damons has chosen All the Above as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Octavio Saades!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trey Damons!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saades throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Damons blocks a head kick by Saades.
Saades fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Damons misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Saades moves into the clinch.
Saades lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Saades scores with a shot to the side of Damons's head.

Damons works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Saades wants to stand up but Damons is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Damons working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Saades looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Damons trying to control the position from guard on top but Saades is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Saades looking to hit a scissor sweep but Damons is one step ahead there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Saades pulls Damons in close to prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Octavio Saades wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Damons takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Saades lands a head kick!
Saades throws a leg kick which misses Damons's front leg but catches the back leg as Damons tries to avoid it.
Damons tries to score a power double leg takedown but Saades sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Damons somewhat.
Saades lands a front kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Saades.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Damons takes a kick to the side of the head.
Octavio Saades is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Saades sends Damons crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Saades is motioning to the referee to let Damons up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Damons is rocked!
Damons looks winded!
Damons switches off momentarily and Saades cracks him with a monster right hand! Damons topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Saades dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Saades!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Octavio Saades!
Trey Damons was interviewed post fight and said 'Fuck it, I'm gonna get better'.
