Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Tsoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafal Arsic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Viktor Tsoi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rafal Arsic!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsoi tries to land a leg kick but Arsic saw it coming and moves away.
Tsoi connects with an inside leg kick.
Arsic ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Arsic has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Both fighters circling a little - Tsoi finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Tsoi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Arsic counters with a left and a right that stings Tsoi.
Tsoi motions for Arsic to come forward. Tsoi throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Tsoi throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Tsoi throws a jab but it's blocked by Arsic.
Tsoi has a takedown stuffed.
Tsoi throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Tsoi dodges the punch combination from Arsic.
Tsoi looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Tsoi lands a right hook to the body.

Arsic loads up on a big right hand but Tsoi slips the punch.
Tsoi connects with a solid leg kick.
Tsoi misses with a low kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tsoi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Arsic has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Arsic and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Tsoi throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Tsoi ducks under a wild hook from Arsic.
Arsic avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Arsic takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tsoi throws a quick inside leg kick.
Tsoi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Arsic was well out of range. Poor timing from Tsoi.
Arsic closes the distance and clinches up with Tsoi, looking for a takedown. Arsic pushes Tsoi against the cage but Tsoi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tsoi throws a solid leg kick but Arsic takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Tsoi.
Arsic blocks a low kick nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Arsic throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tsoi dodges the punch combination from Arsic.
Tsoi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Arsic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Tsoi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Arsic has picked Tsoi up and slammed him! Tsoi can't keep hold of the triangle and Arsic manages to pass to side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tsoi tries to bench press Arsic off him but Arsic keeps the position.
Tsoi is working hard here to advance position.

Tsoi tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Arsic presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Tsoi wants to control but Arsic is having none of it.
Arsic has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tsoi's face.

Tsoi is desperately trying to improve his position but Arsic has a good base and remains in mount.

Tsoi is looking to get to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tsoi trying to punch from the bottom. They're landing but they're really not going to hurt Arsic.
Tsoi is trying to reverse the position but instead Arsic has taken his back - oops!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Tsoi looks to land a left hand but Arsic moved out of range nicely.
Tsoi lands a head kick. Arsic smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Tsoi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Arsic.

Arsic looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Arsic is stalling here. Tsoi is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Arsic seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Tsoi has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tsoi wants to control but Arsic is keeping him busy.
Tsoi throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Tsoi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Arsic knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Arsic bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tsoi's guard.
Arsic slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rafal Arsic has got the better of the ground game so far.

Tsoi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Arsic defends it easily.
Arsic controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Viktor Tsoi will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Tsoi tries to land a front kick but Arsic steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Arsic throws a good cross that connects.

Arsic's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Tsoi fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Arsic is out of range.
Tsoi connects with a leg kick. Arsic looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Arsic moves out of range of the body kick from Tsoi.
Tsoi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Tsoi lands a nice looking kick to the body. Arsic takes a step back to recover.
Arsic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Tsoi creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Arsic sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Tsoi is looking to take a break and control but Arsic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tsoi looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Arsic is avoiding damage well.

Tsoi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Arsic has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tsoi but great work by Arsic.

After winning the bout, Viktor Tsoi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
