Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raiden Asuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Spong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spong swats away the attempt to clinch by Asuka.
Asuka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Spong was well out of range. Poor timing from Asuka.
A big right from Spong misses.
Asuka shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Spong defends it nicely.
Asuka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Spong.
We've been hearing reports that Asuka has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Spong looks to score with a jab to the body but Asuka is just out of range.
Asuka shoots for a double leg takedown but Spong sprawls well. He's pushed Asuka's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Asuka shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Spong tries to get to full guard but Asuka has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Asuka is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Asuka has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Spong defend it? Asuka steps over the head and cranks it - Spong is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Asuka!
