The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruber swings for the body but McGrady moves out of range.

and McGrady counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gruber won't be happy with that.

McGrady has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gruber is trying to control McGrady's posture but McGrady avoids it.
