Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogan Aye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Chick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shogan Aye has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shogan Aye!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Chick!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Chick.
Aye dives in and grabs Chick's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chick pushes down on Aye's head and hops out.
Chick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chick has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Aye is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Aye moves away from the strike by Chick.
Aye moves out of range of the body kick.
Chick keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Chick lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Aye tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Chick defends well and Aye ends up having to push Chick into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shogan Aye. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aye goes for a takedown attempt but Chick pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Chick fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Aye is out of range.
Chick misses with a low kick as Aye jumps back.
Aye misses with a few strikes there.
Chick throws a leg kick but Aye moved away.
Both fighters circling a little - Chick finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chick fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Aye.

Aye has his takedown stuffed
and Chick counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Chick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Aye takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Aye shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chick sprawls well. Chick wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aye gets slowly back to his feet.
Chick throws a half hearted mid kick.
Chick defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Aye.
Chick throws a wild body kick that Aye sees coming a mile off.
Aye takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Chick connects with a leg kick. Aye looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Chick tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Chick tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Chick stops a takedown attempt from Aye.
Chick tries a body shot but Aye blocks it.
A nice left hand lands by Chick.
Chick lands a hook that snaps the head of Aye backwards.
Chick swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Chick throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ayes head.
Chick gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Aye.

Chick tries to work over Aye's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Chick tries to throw a body punch but Aye avoids it by throwing Chick back against the cage.
Aye wants a takedown.
Aye is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Aye blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Aye has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chick after a bit of a struggle.
Chick tries a body shot but Aye blocks it.
Chick tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Aye's elbow.
Chick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Aye changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chick tries to avoid it but Aye manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chick to the ground. Chick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Aye is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chick sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Chick lands a big head kick that sends Aye tumbling to the mat! Chick takes a step backwards and waves Aye back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Shogan Aye has been cut.

Aye looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chick is fending him off so far but Aye persists. Nope, Chick circles away and we're back to standing.
Chick digs a good body shot into Aye's ribs.
Aye walks into a stiff left hand from Chick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Chick.
Chick misses with a head kick.
Andy Chick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice sprawl there from Chick as Aye shoots in.
Aye steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Chick. That one must have hurt.
Chick chopping away at his opponent's legs.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Aye. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Chick connects with a leg kick. Aye looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Chick throws a head kick but Aye moves out of range.
Aye takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Chick scores with a sloppy right hand. Aye should have avoided that one.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Aye crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chick - the referee stops the clock and Aye gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chick. Aye manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Chick lands with a nice combination. Aye backs away looking to recover.
Chick tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andy Chick dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Shogan Aye's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Chick scores with a nice right hand.
Chick has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Chick scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Aye is defended easily by Chick.
Chick thumps Aye with a low kick.
Andy Chick seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Aye has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Chick.
Chick lands a big head kick that sends Aye tumbling to the mat! Chick takes a step backwards and waves Aye back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Chick cracks the inside of Aye's front leg.
Oh Aye is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chick lets loose with a powerful body kick. Aye will feel that in the morning.
Chick drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Aye's head, knocking him out cold! Chick is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andy Chick!

A very excited looking Andy Chick made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
