The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Helsson closes the distance but Daniels moves to the side

and Daniels holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Daniels pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Helsson throws a head kick but Daniels moves out of range.
Daniels misses with a double jab

and Helsson counters with a crisp one two that drops Daniels! Helsson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Daniels to his feet! Daniels is in big trouble!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daniels misses with a series of wild punches.

Daniels shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Helsson's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Helsson is looking to stand back up but Daniels counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Helsson.
Helsson is trying to stand up here but Daniels is controlling him well.

Helsson throws an uppercut from hell that sends Daniels clean off his feet! He's out cold! Helsson stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

In his post fight interview, Gunnar Helsson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
