The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutant fails to land with a series of punches.
Willems blocks a jab.
Willems looks to land a left hand but Mutant moved out of range nicely.
Willems tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mutant paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Mutant counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Willems thinking.

A decent looking cross lands there for Willems.
Lyle Willems seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mutant moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Oh Willems is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
