Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harald Hildetand and Scott Watt. Hildetand comes to the cage accompanied by Amon Amarth - Twillight of the Thunder God. Watt has chosen Edmund Fitzgerald as his entrance music. Harald Hildetand has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hildetand lands a jab-cross combination.
Good standup being displayed there by Hildetand as he connects with a hook.
Hildetand scores with a body shot.
Watt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A jab-cross combination lands for Hildetand and sends Watt crashing to the mat! Hildetand follows him down to the mat - Watt regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Hildetand is trying to control the action in half guard but Watt is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Hildetand is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hildetand has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Watt's coach down at Diamond In The Rough Training Facility was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Watt's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Hildetand wants to break the clinch but can't.

Watt is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Watt has hold of one of Hildetand's legs. Hildetand is fighting the takedown attempt but Watt gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Watt wants to advance to full mount but Hildetand doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Watt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hildetand manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hildetand throws a series of punches but Watt moves out of range.

Watt keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hildetand's efforts to push away.
Hildetand is trying to push Watt away but Watt has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hildetand looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Watt lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A frustrated look appears on Hildetand's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Hildetand is trying to push Watt away but Watt has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Watt lands a hook that snaps the head of Hildetand backwards.

Watt lands a good knee to the midsection. Hildetand won't want to take too many of those.

Hildetand tries to circle away but Watt has him pinned against the cage.

Watt gets through Hildetand's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Watt utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Watt ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Watt no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Hildetand swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
