Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alonzo Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Jehosifat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jerry Jehosifat!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jehosifat scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Jehosifat trying to control the action but Dalton is working from the bottom.
Jehosifat not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Jehosifat is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Dalton blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jehosifat.
Jehosifat seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dalton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Jehosifat throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Dalton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jehosifat on the ground.
Jehosifat lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.


It looks like Alonzo Dalton has been cut.

Dalton actively working from the bottom here.
Jehosifat is looking to take a break and control but Dalton is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dalton is breathing heavily.
Jehosifat seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dalton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jehosifat tries a low kick but Dalton avoids it.

Jehosifat is nestled in close to Dalton, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jehosifat not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Dalton is refusing to be controlled, as Jehosifat sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jehosifat maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dalton could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Jehosifat has cracked it and Dalton is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Jehosifat!
