And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jordan Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Wilson throws a solid leg kick but Taylor takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wilson.
Taylor lands a jab to the nose.
Wilson wants to land a leg kick but Taylor is out of range.
Taylor moves forwards but Wilson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Wilson.
No luck for Taylor with that takedown attempt.

and Taylor counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wilson's guard now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Taylor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wilson's head.

Taylor goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wilson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Taylor but great work by Wilson.
Wilson wants to stand but Taylor has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

Wilson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Taylor crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wilson - the referee stops the clock and Taylor gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wilson. Taylor manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Wilson throws out a leg kick but Taylor moves out of range and Wilson only half commits.

Wilson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Taylor throws a hook but Wilson avoids it easily.
Wilson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Taylor. That did some damage!

Taylor takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Taylor counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wilson's guard now.

Taylor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
