Woods has chosen skillet-monster as his entrance music. Goran Schwarzeneg has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Woods!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Schwarzeneg is fending him off so far but Woods persists. Nope, Schwarzeneg circles away and we're back to standing.
Schwarzeneg lands a really nice looking cross but Woods seems unphased.
Woods tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Schwarzeneg paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Schwarzeneg forces Woods back against the cage and clinches.
Woods tries to pull guard but Schwarzeneg holds him up against the cage and eventually Woods drops back down to his feet.
Come on Schwarzeneg - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Woods drops down looking for an ankle pick but Schwarzeneg pulls his leg out and moves away.
Goran Schwarzeneg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ross Woods.

Schwarzeneg closes the distance and clinches.

Schwarzeneg has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Woods uses from the top position.

Schwarzeneg tries to close the distance and clinch but Woods swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Schwarzeneg wants to take the fight to the mat but Woods manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Schwarzeneg has picked Woods up - he's going for a ride! Schwarzeneg dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Schwarzeneg is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We've been informed that Woods has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Schwarzeneg content to control rather than advance.
Woods is looking for a sweep. Schwarzeneg is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Woods is breathing heavily.
Woods throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Schwarzeneg decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Woods, up you get!

Schwarzeneg drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Woods is letting Schwarzeneg control him for a moment.
Woods tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Schwarzeneg happy to just control the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Goran Schwarzeneg wasn't doing enough on the ground.

and Schwarzeneg counters with a nice uppercut.
Goran Schwarzeneg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Woods drops back, looking for a kneebar! Schwarzeneg looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Schwarzeneg looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Schwarzeneg!
