Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomas Fillibunken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kenny Smith!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fillibunken tries to clinch but Smith is having none of it.
Fillibunken tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Smith counters with a takedown into side control.
Fillibunken is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Fillibunken wants to control but Smith postures up.
Smith moves into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith controlling the position easily from mount.
Smith lands a big shot there that rocks Fillibunken but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith controlling his opponent.
Fillibunken is trying to escape the mount but Smith keeps good control and instead manages to take Fillibunken's back.
Smith working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Fillibunken is doing well to defend. Smith seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Fillibunken is forced to tap and this one is over!
