Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jasper Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Fenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones looks for the body kick but Fenix saw that one coming.
Fenix fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away.
A punch lands to the side of Jones 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Jasper Jones has been cut.
Jones throws a chopping leg kick but Fenix manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Jones lands a nice shot that snaps Fenix's head back.

Jones tries to clinch up but Fenix circles away and keeps his distance.
Jones clinches up with Fenix and pushes him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jones has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jones and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Fenix manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure.

Marcus Fenix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Fenix fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jones checks it well.
Fenix swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.

That was a close round but I would say that Jasper Jones will probably get the nod.
