The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igelmann swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Patton counters with a thumping low kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Patton.
Patton checks a low kick from Igelmann.
Igelmann shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Patton sprawls well. Patton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Igelmann gets slowly back to his feet.
Igelmann throws a series of punches but Patton avoids them all with ease.
Igelmann throws a hook to the side of Patton's head but Patton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A slow jab from Igelmann misses its intended target.
Igelmann jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The fighters circling - Igelmann throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Igelmann fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Igelmann has been working on his boxing with his coaches at MMA Sanok Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Igelmann scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Patton takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Igelmann throws a series of punches but Patton avoids them all with ease.

Patton darts in and clinches Igelmann up against the cage.
Igelmann has had enough of the clinch but Patton keeps him there for the moment.
Patton lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Bjorn Igelmann has been cut.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Patton connects with a knee to the head.
Igelmann wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
