Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kasper Koltun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, DJ Deckin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deckin tries to clinch but Koltun moves out of range.
Koltun fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Deckin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Koltun sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Deckin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Deckin has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
DJ Deckin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koltun circles away from the clinch attempt
and Koltun connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Deckin looks for a takedown but Koltun sprawls well.
We've been told by Koltun's head coaches at Commonwealth that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Kasper Koltun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DJ Deckin.
Deckin shoots in looking for a takedown. Koltun tries to sprawl out of it but Deckin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Koltun manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Deckin takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Deckin gets cracked there but stands up to it.


Deckin is rocked!
Deckin throws a head kick that misses.
Koltun slaps away a takedown attempt from Deckin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Koltun connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Deckin looks winded!
Deckin tries to clinch but Koltun moves away
and Koltun counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Deckin darts in trying to clinch
and Koltun rattles Deckin with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Deckin tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Koltun dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Deckin stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kasper Koltun!
