PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robin Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Dorm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Bulls On Parade - Rage Against The Machine. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Dorm was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in looking for a takedown but Dorm manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Smith's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dorm enables Smith to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dorm manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Smith passes Dorm's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Dorm is trying to control but can't.

Smith seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Smith swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dorm is now in Smith's guard. A big mistake from Smith there, giving up the dominant position!
