Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Ring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jeremy Ring has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jeremy Ring seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard scores with a nice head shot.
Ring throws a combination. Maynard tries to block but a couple of punches get through.


It looks like John Maynard has been cut.

Ring has Maynard pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Maynard is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Ring - that's hurt Maynard badly! Oh, another knee lands and Maynard is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Maynard doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Jeremy Ring!
