Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikaiah Rynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Sherk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sherk has chosen Divinations by Mastodon as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mikaiah Rynn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherk closes the distance and clinches up with Rynn, looking for a takedown. Sherk pushes Rynn against the cage but Rynn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sherk.
Rynn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sherk.
Dave Sherk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sherk fails with a takedown attempt.
Mikaiah Rynn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Sherk.
Sherk lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Rynn ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Rynn scores with a hook.
It looks like Dave Sherk has been cut.
Rynn looks to land a combination but Sherk avoids it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rynn drops Sherk with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sherk looks back up at him and smiles so Rynn waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sherk is rocked!
Sherk shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rynn as he avoids it easily.
Sherk is still on wobbly legs! Can Rynn finish him?
Rynn lands a brutal uppercut that launches Sherk off his feet! Sherk tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mikaiah Rynn!
