The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddle tries to clinch up but Salvador circles away and keeps his distance.

Salvador is trying to pull guard but Riddle has him pressed against the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Riddle has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Salvador has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Riddle avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Riddle dips a shoulder and cracks Salvador with a mighty uppercut! Salvador falls back against the cage and Riddle unloads with a barrage of strikes! Salvador is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Riddle screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
