Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darth Aron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Zanetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pablo Zanetti has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aron pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Zanetti clinches up against the cage.
Zanetti jumps guard but Aron stands there with Zanetti around his waist. Zanetti gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Aron has had enough of the clinch but Zanetti keeps him there for the moment.

Zanetti looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Zanetti is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Aron is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Zanetti shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Aron manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zanetti has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Aron is on him like a limpet, forcing Zanetti back against the cage.

Zanetti shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aron's guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zanetti is pushing down on Aron's leg trying to pass to half guard. Aron is fighting to maintain full guard but Zanetti has managed to sneak the leg through.
Zanetti seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
