Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jules Clement (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esko Takanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clement kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ministère AMER - Sacrifice de Poulets. Takanen has chosen Tell A Bitch as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Takanen.
Clement avoids a kick to the body.
Clement misses with a leg kick.
Clement lands with an uppercut that bounces Takanen off the cage and back into range.
Clement looks for a takedown but Takanen sprawls well.
Clement misses with a head kick.
Clement tries to close the distance and clinch but Takanen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Takanen. Clement does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jules Clement seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Clement avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Clement avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Takanen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

It looks like Jules Clement has been cut.
A punch lands to the side of Clement 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Takanen drops his hands momentarily and Clement takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Takanen throws a half hearted mid kick.
Clement connects with an inside leg kick.

Clement throws out a leg kick but Takanen moves out of range and Clement only half commits.

Clement dives in for a single leg takedown but Takanen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Takanen blocks a body shot from Clement.

Clement escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Clement scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Clement pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Takanen throws a predictable looking body shot

and Clement counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Takanen pulls Clement in close to prevent any damage.
Takanen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Clement's guard.

Clement is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Takanen is aware though and is defending well.

Takanen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Takanen lands a lovely overhand right.

Clement moves out of range as Takanen strikes.
Takanen throws out a leg kick but Clement moves out of range and Takanen only half commits.

Clement moves into the clinch.
Clement takes a shot to the head.
Takanen misses with some punches.
Clement goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Takanen lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Takanen.

Takanen breaks from the clinch.
Clement tries for a takedown but Takanen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Clement seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jules Clement. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Takanen throws a looping overhand right but Clement ducks down to avoid it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Clement takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Clement is rocked!
Clement leaves his chin hanging out and Takanen seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Clement crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
