The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Spar misses its intended target.
Spar has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Soul Supremacy - UK in the buildup to the fight.
Spar lands a big head kick that sends Quinn tumbling to the mat! Spar takes a step backwards and waves Quinn back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Quinn's coach down at Soul Supremacy - UK was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Quinn's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Quinn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Spar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Quinn.
Spar lands the left hand.
Spar lands a slapping body shot.
Spar connects with a body shot.
Spar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Spar, right into the meat.
Spar lands a left and a right that send Quinn crashing to the mat, dazed. Spar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Quinn is rocked!
Quinn darts in and clinches Spar up against the cage.

Spar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Quinn moves away.

Spar fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Quinn on the side of the head.

and Spar counters with a nice right hand that sends Quinn toppling to the canvas! Quinn scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Spar finish him?!

Quinn connects with a right hand. Spar shakes it off.
Quinn works Spar's body with a nice hook.
The fighters circling - Spar throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Quinn misses the shot to the body.
Quinn throws a body punch but Spar moves out of range.
Quinn lands a nice hook to Spar's body. Spar takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Spar lands a glancing blow to the side of Quinn's head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spar throws an uppercut from hell that sends Quinn clean off his feet! He's out cold! Spar stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
