Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eulalio Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez comes into the arena with El party me llama blaring out of the sound system. Savage comes into a darkened arena with his song building. the scatman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Eulalio Gonzalez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Savage lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gonzalez doesn't seem phased though.

Gonzalez looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Savage lands with an uppercut that bounces Gonzalez off the cage and back into range.

Savage lands a nice hook to Gonzalez's body. Gonzalez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gonzalez swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Savage.

Savage on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
We've been informed that Savage has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Gonzalez shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Gonzalez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
