Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Menchaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lemy Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Mitchell Menchaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lemy Waters!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waters just misses with a punch to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Waters has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Menchaka wants to slow Waters down by chopping away at his legs.
Menchaka slips a jab from Waters.
Menchaka throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The fighters circling - Menchaka throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Menchaka seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Waters on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Waters looks to land a combination but Menchaka avoids it well.

Waters controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Menchaka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Waters drops back, looking for a kneebar! Menchaka looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Menchaka looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Menchaka!

Waters is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Menchaka defends well.
Waters is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Menchaka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Waters on the ground.

Waters has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Menchaka can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Menchaka throws a shot from downtown. Waters moves away and avoids it.
Menchaka ducks right into an uppercut from Waters.
A decent looking cross lands there for Waters.
Waters fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Menchaka avoids it really well and circles away.

Menchaka throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Waters sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Lemy Waters comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Waters winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
