The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forclit throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Napoles thows a left - swing and a miss!
Napoles slips a jab from Forclit.
Napoles swats away the attempt to clinch by Forclit.
Napoles throws the left hand but Forclit avoids the punch easily.

Napoles drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Forclit winds up and cracks Napoles with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Forclit throws a low kick but Napoles avoids it.

Napoles takes a swing at Forclit's ribcage but misses.
Napoles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Forclit tries to avoid it but Napoles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Forclit to the ground. Forclit escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacques Lim Napoles. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Forclit shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Napoles but Napoles pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Napoles fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Forclit manages to avoid it.

Napoles is rocked!
Forclit finds Napoles's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Napoles flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Forclit lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Napoles will be OK.
