The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes dips to his left and cracks Perkovic with an uppercut!
Barnes stuffs the takedown.

and Barnes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mikhail Perkovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barnes buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Barnes enables Perkovic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Barnes manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Barnes unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Perkovic! He's leaning against the ropes trying to keep his feet but Barnes is unloading with more strikes now! Perkovic drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
