Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bilbo Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bilbo Baggins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dexter Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Baggins or perhaps it was just good defense by Morgan which made him look bad.
Morgan has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Morgan there as he acknowledges the shot.
Morgan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Baggins counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Baggins working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Baggins is looking to stall here but Morgan recovers full guard.

Baggins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've been hearing good reports from Baggins's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bilbo Baggins will probably get the nod.
