Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Stringer Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haka Maka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maka has chosen Island Music as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Haka Maka enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stringer Bell!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Haka Maka!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Bell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bell thows a body shot but no joy.
Bell cracks a nice hook into Maka's ribs.
Maka throws a left and a right that both miss

and Bell counters by clinching up.

Bell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Maka ducks under a wild hook from Bell.
Maka misses with a series of wild punches.
Maka throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bell.
Bell lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Bell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bell lands a nice shot to the body.
Maka walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bell checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Maka misses with a combination
and Bell counters with a nice body shot.

Maka throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bell swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Maka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Maka throws a wild body kick that Bell sees coming a mile off.
Maka throws a body punch but Bell moves out of range.
Bell throws a right hand that Maka ducks under and follows up with a left that Maka also avoids with ease.
Maka tries to clinch

and Bell counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Bell wants to break free but Maka has control.
Maka has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Maka wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Maka throws a knee to the head but misses.

A frustrated look appears on Maka's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Bell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Maka showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bell.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bell throws a right hand that Maka ducks under and follows up with a left that Maka also avoids with ease.

Sloppy strikes from Bell. Those never looked like landing.
Maka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bell throws a head kick that misses
and Maka counters with a one-two to the body.
Maka throws a wild body kick that Bell sees coming a mile off.
Bell misses with a body shot
and Maka counters with a nice body kick.
Bell works Maka's body with a nice hook.
A swing and a miss from Bell.
A big left from Maka misses.
Bell lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Maka backs up against the ropes.
Maka misses with the combination.
Maka avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bell staggers Maka with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Maka looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Bell is victorious!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Stringer Bell!
Stringer Bell is the new middleweight champion!
After winning the bout, Stringer Bell thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
