The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flamingo lands a slapping body shot.
Flamingo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ardizzone misses with a body shot.
Flamingo thuds his right hand into Ardizzone's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Flamingo throws a jab when Ardizzone was well out of range.
Flamingo misses with an uppercut.
Flamingo lands a nice looking body shot.
Don Flamingo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Flamingo darts in and clinches Ardizzone up against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Flamingo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ardizzone backwards.
Flamingo throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ardizzones head.
The referee calls for Flamingo to work.

Flamingo lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Ardizzone is looking to take this one to the mat.
Ardizzone drops down looking for an ankle pick but Flamingo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Don Flamingo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joseph Ardizzone.
Flamingo lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ardizzone up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Flamingo from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ardizzone's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
