Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Parker Molina!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Terence Willis!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molina shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Molina misses with a takedown attempt

and Willis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Molina won't be happy with that.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Willis is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Molina will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Willis passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Molina!

Willis with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

You get the feeling that Molina really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Willis wants to take his opponent's back but instead Molina manages to regain half guard.
Molina is looking for a sweep. Willis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Willis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Terence Willis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Willis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Molina manages to avoid it.

Willis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Molina quickly recovers to half guard.
Molina is looking to improve his position.
Willis is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Molina really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Let's hope that Willis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Willis content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Terence Willis wasn't active enough on the ground.
Molina shoots in looking for a takedown. Willis tries to sprawl out of it but Molina keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Willis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Parker Molina. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Willis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Molina manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Willis not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Terence Willis was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Willis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Willis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Willis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Molina was covering up waiting for the punch and Willis finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Willis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Willis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Molina swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Terence Willis hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Willis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Molina manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Willis engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Willis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Molina's guard.

Molina won't allow Willis to pass to mount.
Willis is taking a breather. Molina says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Terence Willis was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Willis decides to stand up, so the ref orders Molina to his feet.

Willis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Willis has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Terence Willis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



Willis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Molina's guard.

Molina has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Willis is working away from the top position though.

Well Willis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
