Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Laak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Areli Durga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laak comes to the cage accompanied by Pain - Shut your mouth. Durga is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Godsmack - Voodoo. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durga throws a leg kick
and Laak counters with a stiff right hand.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Durga has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Laak.
Durga is looking to chop away at Laak's legs.
Durga misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Laak lands a slapping body shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Laak. That snapped Durga's head back.
Durga slips a straight right by Laak.
Laak misses with an uppercut
and Durga counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Laak cracks Durga with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Laak on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Durga. Durga obviously looking to wear him down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Laak throws a body kick that misses.
Laak throws a hook but Durga avoids it easily.
Laak stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Laak scores with a nice head shot.

Durga is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Durga shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Durga is still on wobbly legs! Can Laak finish him?
Durga has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Laak.
Durga looks winded!
Laak ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Durga out cold! The fight is over!

A very excited looking Eric Laak rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
