Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gaudencio Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanz Stokenhizer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Stokenhizer's choice of entrance music: The Lucky Bullets . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stokenhizer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Roman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Roman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stokenhizer was well out of range. Poor timing from Roman.
Roman throws a half hearted mid kick.
Stokenhizer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Stokenhizer takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Stokenhizer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Gaudencio Roman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Roman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stokenhizer.
Roman fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stokenhizer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Gaudencio Roman just wasn't active enough.

Sloppy strikes from Roman. Those never looked like landing.

Stokenhizer is rocked!
Roman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stokenhizer circles away quickly and effectively.
Stokenhizer is still on wobbly legs! Can Roman finish him?

Roman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Roman closes the distance looking for a takedown. Stokenhizer stuffs it but Roman still has hold of him. Roman picks Stokenhizer up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Roman slams Stokenhizer to the floor and that's really hurt Stokenhizer - he doesn't know where he is! Roman throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
