Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Butch Shorette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giorgio Tsoukalos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shorette might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to No New Friends. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shorette misses with a series of wild punches.
The fighters circling - Tsoukalos throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Shorette on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Shorette tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tsoukalos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tsoukalos catches Shorette with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Tsoukalos looks to land a combination. Shorette sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Shorette takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Shorette throws a shot from downtown. Tsoukalos moves away and avoids it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Shorette. Tsoukalos does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've been informed that Tsoukalos has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

and Tsoukalos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Shorette has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tsoukalos tries to bum rush Shorette with a series of wild strikes but Shorette uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Shorette chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tsoukalos can pounce on him.
Giorgio Tsoukalos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shorette tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tsoukalos was well out of range. Poor timing from Shorette.
Tsoukalos throws a nice looking combination but Shorette bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A relieved looking Giorgio Tsoukalos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
