The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lugz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Lugz wants to clinch up but Duplesris keeps it at a distance.
Lugz dodges the punch combination from Duplesris.
Duplesris lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Duplesris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lugz slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Seth Duplesris has been cut.
Duplesris avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lugz tries to clinch
and Duplesris counters with a one-two to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lugz.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Duplesris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lugz moves away.
Lugz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Duplesris manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Duplesris waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lugz.
Duplesris lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Lugz goes down and covers up as Duplesris starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
