Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abel Hardin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Abel Hardin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Martin Freeman!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman throws a body kick that misses
so Hardin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hardin really is a fat lump.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hardin stopping the sweep attempt from Freeman.
Hardin looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Freeman holds on and takes a little breather.
Hardin throws a big right hand that misses.
Hardin content to stall in guard here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Freeman tries to clinch up.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hardin is defended easily by Freeman.
Freeman misses with the body kick
and Hardin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hardin throwing strikes from guard but Freeman blocks nicely.
Hardin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hardin is stalling in the full guard.
Hardin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Freeman for as long as he can get away with.
Freeman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hardin.

Hardin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Abel Hardin.
Freeman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hardin.
Freeman lands a jab to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hardin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Freeman as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abel Hardin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Freeman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hardin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Freeman cracks Hardin with an open hand slap.
It looks like Abel Hardin has been cut.
Freeman stuffs the takedown attempt from Hardin. Hardin gets slowly back to his feet.
Hardin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Freeman cracks Hardin with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hardin looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Freeman finish him?
Hardin is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Freeman goes for a small jab and connects. Now Freeman goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Hardin stumbles back but Freeman runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Hardin to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Hardin will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Martin Freeman!
