Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Greiner!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greiner looking to score a takedown here. Jude is defending well but Greiner drives through and ends up in Jude's guard.
Greiner wants to control from the top but Jude keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jude is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Jude has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Greiner can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jude is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Greiner keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jude's head.

Greiner passes Jude's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Greiner thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jude's head.
Greiner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jude with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Greiner prevents Jude from improving his position.

Greiner scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Greiner is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Greiner is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Greiner in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Jude tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Greiner!
