Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leon Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bart Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pablo avoids it really well and circles away.
Pablo tries to clinch there but Couture circles away.
Pablo throws the kick towards the body but Couture avoids it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pablo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Pablo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pablo tries to clinch but Couture moves out of range.
Couture avoids a punch combination nicely.
Couture avoids the head kick by Pablo.
Couture shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pablo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Couture is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Couture stops Pablo from standing up.
Couture keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pablo's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pablo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Couture is controlling him.

It looks like Bart Pablo has been cut.
Couture cracks Pablo with a solid left hand.

Couture is working Pablo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Couture has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bart Pablo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bart Pablo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Leon Couture thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Bart Pablo was interviewed post fight and said 'thanks my sponsors and fans'.
