Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Phaneuf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez's entrance music is Joyenergizer. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Christian Phaneuf was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Phaneuf closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Phaneuf has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ramirez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Phaneuf has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ramirez is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ramirez keeps the fight on the outside.

Phaneuf doesn't manage to clinch there - Ramirez circles away.

Jesus Ramirez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ramirez cracks Phaneuf's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Phaneuf slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Ramirez can do further damage! This one is done, son!
