The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halbein tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Halbein tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Best is able to avoid easily.
Best dodges the punch combination from Halbein.

Halbein moves into the clinch.
Halbein is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Best is trying to push Halbein away but Halbein has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Halbein pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Best is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Halbein is defending well for now.

Halbein has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Best is trying to keep an underhook but Halbein manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Halbein is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Best to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Best shrugs it off.
