Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seppo Kneeigeninen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kivi Kasvo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kasvo has chosen Danzig Mother as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seppo Kneeigeninen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kivi Kasvo!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kasvo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kneeigeninen tries to kick Kasvo off but Kasvo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Kasvo thows a huge punch but Kneeigeninen dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kasvo missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Kasvo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kasvo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Kasvo is trying to work for a kimura but Kneeigeninen is defending well.
Kneeigeninen avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kasvo.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kasvo is looking to take a break and control but Kneeigeninen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kasvo scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Kasvo slows the pace down in half guard.
Kasvo wants to free his trapped foot but Kneeigeninen is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Kasvo looking for a submission but Kneeigeninen manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kasvo forces his way into half guard.
Kasvo wants to pass to mount but Kneeigeninen is defending the position.
Kneeigeninen is staying active underneath Kasvo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Kasvo trying to pass the guard but Kneeigeninen defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kasvo is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Kneeigeninen pulls Kasvo in close to prevent any damage.
Kasvo wants to pass the guard but Kneeigeninen is keeping the position.
Kneeigeninen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kneeigeninen scrambles and gets back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kasvo is defended easily by Kneeigeninen.
A head kick misses from Kneeigeninen.
Kneeigeninen blocks a jab.
Kneeigeninen moves out of range as Kasvo strikes.

Kasvo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kneeigeninen is landing a low percentage of strikes.

and Kneeigeninen counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kneeigeninen.

It looks like Kivi Kasvo has been cut.
Kneeigeninen throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kasvo blocks it with crossed arms.
Kasvo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kasvo lands a hook that snaps the head of Kneeigeninen backwards.
Our sources have told us that Kneeigeninen has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Kneeigeninen tries to land knees in the clinch but Kasvo avoids the damage to the body.
Kasvo goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Knees to the body from Kneeigeninen.
Kasvo on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kivi Kasvo dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Kivi Kasvo's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Kasvo rushes Kneeigeninen and presses him up against the cage.
Kneeigeninen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Kasvo breaks the clinch.
Kneeigeninen tries a head kick but it misses.
Kneeigeninen throws a sloppy head kick
and Kasvo counters with a flying knee that drops Kneeigeninen! Kasvo dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kivi Kasvo!
During a confident post fight interview, Kivi Kasvo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
