Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bokya Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abraham Donowitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kersikov comes to the cage accompanied by Get Back - Ludacris. Donowitz has chosen JEW FLOW as his entrance music. Abraham Donowitz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bokya Kersikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abraham Donowitz!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Donowitz closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kersikov is looking for a sweep. Donowitz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Donowitz trying to pass the guard but Kersikov defending well.
Donowitz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kersikov's head.

Kersikov wants to improve his position but Donowitz is controlling well.

Kersikov is trying to stick to Donowitz's back but Donowitz is turning into Kersikov. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kersikov's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Donowitz.

Kersikov controls Donowitz momentarily but Donowitz frees himself.
Donowitz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kersikov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Donowitz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Donowitz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Crunch! Donowitz slams his shin into Kersikov's torso.
Kersikov moves away from the strike by Donowitz.
Donowitz lands a head shot.
Donowitz shoots for a takedown but Kersikov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Donowitz throws the left hand but Kersikov avoids the punch easily.
Donowitz throws a leg kick but Kersikov sees it coming and moves out of range.
Donowitz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kersikov unloads with some shots from mount but Donowitz bucks and avoids them well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kersikov.

Donowitz tries to bum rush Kersikov with a series of wild strikes but Kersikov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Donowitz throws a sloppy head kick and Kersikov moves out of range easily.
Donowitz motions for Kersikov to come forward. Donowitz throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kersikov goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like Abraham Donowitz has been cut.
Donowitz throws a hook but Kersikov avoids it easily.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Donowitz - that will leave a mark!

Kersikov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Kersikov wants to control but Donowitz postures up.
Donowitz misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kersikov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kersikov tries to get out of the position.

Kersikov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Donowitz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kersikov defends it nicely.
Bokya Kersikov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abraham Donowitz.
Donowitz connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kersikov. Kersikov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Donowitz seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

A very excited looking Abraham Donowitz rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
