Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Nealson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lebron Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Horrible takedown by Nealson or perhaps it was just good defense by Bryant which made him look bad.

Bryant breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bryant has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nealson uses from the top position.
Nealson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bryant stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nealson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bryant slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Nealson wants to control the position but Bryant says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Bryant is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nealson sees it coming and defends easily.

Bryant seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nealson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Bryant is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Nealson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bryant defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nealson lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Bryant is stalling here. Nealson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bryant seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Nealson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Bryant takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Nealson advances nicely into full mount.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bryant is in a horrible position here. Nealson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
You get the feeling that Bryant really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Nealson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nealson prevents Bryant from getting the reversal.

Nealson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bryant to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bryant shrugs it off.
