Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jared Mcconnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dong Uk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uk is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: As Animals - I See Ghost (Ghost Gunfighters) [Star Slinger Remix]. Dong Uk will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uk cracks a nice hook into Mcconnell's ribs.
Uk lands with a shot to the body.
Uk throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Uk ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mcconnell lands with a kick to the temple. Uk shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Uk lands a jab to Mcconnell's midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Uk just misses with a punch to the body.
Dong Uk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcconnell fails to land the takedown.

Mcconnell is breathing heavily.

Uk cracks Mcconnell with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mcconnell looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Uk finish him?

It looks like Jared Mcconnell has been cut.

Uk sends Mcconnell crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Uk is motioning to the referee to let Mcconnell up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Oh Mcconnell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Uk's coach down at Tokyo Totally Gym + Sauna was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Uk's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Uk cracks Mcconnell with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Mcconnell falls to his knees and Uk doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Dong Uk thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
